Hello Stamping Friends,
The clearance rack has been stocked with new items – up to 60% off on some! Click on the red to visit!
That is generally true, Sal, but the home office wanted our customers to know about the coordinating kits so they are letting the cat out of the bag- or puppies out of the box in this case! Click on the Paper Pumpkin image to go to the site and sign up!
Stampin’ Up! is also offering special grid paper for Paper Pumpkin coordinating with their new slogan that Paper Pumpkin is “better than a box full of puppies” ! Click to see the video .
And while supplies last we have a smaller grid sheet with a holiday tone:

Don’t forget the paper special through the end of this month:
Last but not least in our plethora of announcements – we have an upgraded website! If you have bookmarked my website – not the blog – you will get an error message when you try to access it and it will say it is not secure. That is not true – it is actually more secure than before. The new link eliminates the “www” on the front but the rest remains the same, so click here and take a look at the new website: karendecker.stampinup.net
That is true. That link goes directly to my Stampin’ Up site but our stamping friends may have bookmarked the old one with the “www” before you were introduced! So friends, if you are following my blog and access the website through it, you shouldn’t have a problem.
SAL, Sending Announcements Lovingly
Happy May Day Stamping Friends,
The lilacs will soon be blooming, the yellow finch will return and the grass will be green!! YAY!! I know, I know, it was snowing yesterday and raining today but…….. it is spring in Colorado.
Today Stampin’ Up! is offering a medley of products all bundled together with matching ribbon and designer series paper and lots more…. It is available until May 31 or until sold out!
The video above will give you a close up of the products. Aren’t they beautiful? The gold edged navy blue ribbon is my favorite, or maybe the DSP, or the little mirror circles, or…….. Hah! I don’t need to choose a favorite since I get it all in the product medley!
Here are samples from the home office.
The item code is #150059 and the cost is $80. One of my fellow demonstrators calculated what it would cost to buy everything individually and reported that it is a fair price. You just need to add some basic card stock and adhesive to be ready to create beautiful projects.
While you are ordering you might want to replenish your paper inventory. I use a color inventory chart to keep on top of my supplies:
The new Annual Catalog starts in June and costs will go up a bit. Price Increases pdf file
Cardstock prices go up only .25 to .50 depending on the size but embossing powder and foil sheets go up $1.00.
Hostess codes for May:
Tuesday club: TQJWVPRX Jo will be our hostess and guests are welcome. Click on the calendar at the side of the blog for details.
Saturday club: DP7XS3NC Lisa will be our hostess and guests are welcome. Click on the calendar at the side of the blog for details.
Why use a code? For club members, their club commitment is fulfilled and their hostess gets the credit. If you are not a club member you will help out our hostess and not leave free hostess dollars on the table that no one uses. Of course if your order is $150 or more you DO NOT use the code since you will get the hostess rewards yourself.
You can order the Paper Pumpkin kit with a prepaid subscription code.
The cost of the kits will go up $2.05 with the new catalog so you would be well advised to buy several months before the cost rises. You can always suspend your subscription for a month you know you won’t be home to craft. The subscription will stay active and paid up. You can keep suspending each month by the 10th of the month. Click on the above to go to my online store. I love to subscribe September, October and November so I get the Halloween kit, the Thanksgiving kit and the Christmas card kit but I think this May kit will be special so I will buy a subscription and then be able to suspend through the summer. Standard shipping of 10% or $6.95 does apply on prepaid subscriptions so don’t buy a subscription if it is your only purchase. The month to month plan through Paper Pumpkin’s site is $19.95 per month and includes shipping. You only pay taxes based on your home address so the kit runs around $21.50 in total. Click below to go to the Paper Pumpkin site and sign up:
The kit the picture shows is the April kit! It had a distINKtive stamp set and lovely embellishments.
One last point to note – THE CLEARANCE RACK HAS BEEN RESTOCKED!
Okay, one last, last point – the retiring products are here for only one more month. Click to go to the online store:
Have a wonderful day!
SAL, Send A Lovely May day box (I am thinking one of our pop up card boxes full of flowers)
Hello Stamping Friends,
The two cards for today are from the November Paper Pumpkin kit. Subscribe to Paper Pumpkin and for $19.95 a month (plus tax) you will receive a kit with all the supplies and complete instructions for that month’s projects. A great way to indulge your need to create something without the brain fry of doing the designing. (However – Pinterest is full of alternate ideas you can use!) Click HERE to subscribe. You will be asked to choose a demonstrator and I would love to be your choice.
And for the inside I used the greeting from the hostess set Six Sayings. The holly leaf is a Paper Pumpkin stamp colored with markers. I added a Cherry Cobbler layer with a Whisper White layer on top instead of stamping directly to the Paper Pumpkin card. The Paper Pumpkin stamps had “Bright & Merry”, “Seasons Greetings”, “Happy Holidays” and a “NOEL” stamp like the “JOY” stamp, so you really don’t need other stamps.
If you would like to create your own similar card I have added a PDF instruction sheet with dimensions. We have tools to cut out greenery and could easily convert either of these Paper Pumpkin cards to a birthday card or……….
There were supplies in the Paper Pumpkin for five of the Holly cards and five of this next Mistletoe Card:
I used the Cozy Christmas stamp set for all the stamped images and added layers to the inside of the card for a bit of extra pizzaz.
Paper Pumpkin would make a great gift and can be purchased in 1-month, 3-month, 6 month, or 12 month subscriptions. Click on the image to go to my store and purchase a subscription. You will then receive a code by email and a link to www.paperpumpkin.com where you will enter the code to complete your subscription.
Merry Christmas! See you soon for one last very special card for a very special little girl. Stay tuned.
